Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Money by Parsons.AI ("the App", "we", "our"), a personal finance tracking application. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

2. Description of Service

Money provides personal finance tracking by connecting to your financial institutions through Plaid. The App allows you to:

• View your account balances and transaction history
• Track your net worth over time
• Categorize spending and manage budgets
• Track subscriptions and recurring payments
• Use an AI assistant for financial insights
• Access your data via MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations

3. Financial Data

The App displays financial information from your connected accounts but does not provide financial advice. We do not execute transactions, transfer money, or make financial decisions on your behalf. The data shown may have delays or discrepancies from your actual account balances. Always verify important financial information directly with your financial institution.

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including Plaid (bank connections), Stripe (payments), and Anthropic (AI). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time through the App. Refunds are handled according to our refund policy. AI credits are non-refundable once used.

6. MCP Integration

The App provides an MCP server that allows authorized AI clients to access your financial data on your behalf. By connecting an MCP client, you authorize it to read your financial data and perform actions (such as creating budgets) within the scope of your permissions. You are responsible for which clients you authorize. You can revoke access at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's services
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated systems to scrape or collect data beyond normal MCP usage
• Share your account credentials with others

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the App. This permanently removes all your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any financial losses, data inaccuracies, or damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
